Deer Hunts

Hunt Hickory Creek has thoroughly scouted the property and have installed new tree stands and feeders on likely funnels, pinch-points and travel corridors throughout the ranch. We use cellular trail cameras to keep tabs on our hit list bucks before and during the season.With this real time information and wind direction our guides will put you in the place you need to harvest the trophy you came for.

We hunt out of Ladder stands, Tent blinds, Tower blinds and Box blinds that are safe and comfortable. Because the longer you hunt the better your chances of killing a trophy! Access to the different stand locations is easy on the ranch because of the oil and gas access roads that traverse the property.These roads give us unlimited access to be able to get our hunters into the hunting locations under different wind directions.

With the help of the landowner we are able to plant annual food plots of winter wheat and oats to draw the weary whitetail bucks out of the thick draws. From little half acre kill plots to 8-10 acre plots that draw deer numbers on a nightly basis. We can target big mature bucks in every fashion. Sitting in a concealed tree stand or looking over a large food plot from a tower blind we know how to get it done! 

Bucks from 150"-180" are on our hit list so our management practices require that bucks from 150" or better be harvested. Any bucks deemed immature will have a $1000 fine imposed!

Turkey Hunts

Plenty of Rio Grande Turkeys in this area of Oklahoma for the hunter looking at completing their Grand Slam. The ranch has numerous deep draws that are perfect locations for big mature roost trees. The birds spend most of their day feeding in open pastures, grassy bottoms and even hanging out near tanks and feed lots.From tent blinds located near feeding areas to running and gunning between strutting zones. Our guides have the knowledge to get you in the right location to make your hunt a success .We offer both semi guided and fully guided hunts for one mature Tom.

Predator Hunts

Both day and night hunting for predators is offered at our Oklahoma ranch. We do what we can to control the many predators on the property. Our deer and turkey populations suffer predation from both coyotes and bobcats year around and we do the best we can to control these killers.

Day time hunts for both coyotes and bobcats can surely provide some exciting action.We use electronic calls to lure wiley coyotes and sneaky bobcats out of the draws,thickets and grass for which the ranch has plenty. Coyotes come running into rabbit distress calls as the bobcats are more likely to just sneak in and use their camouflage to just watch and wait to attack! Our guides know what it takes to get you the shot!

Night time hunting for coyotes with thermal equipmentment can be some of the most exciting  hunting you'll ever experience. Night time finds the coyote dropping their garde and coming in faster and harder. Get ready for fast target acquisition as the heat signatures come from all directions.

Feral Hog Hunts

Both Day and Night hunts for feral hogs are offered on the ranch. Day hunts are conducted both mornings and afternoon from tree stands or tent blinds overlooking feeders. Any weapon can be used during these hunts. 

Night hunts are conducted after dark with thermal equipment over feeders along with running and gunning throughout the ranch. Big Boars and Sows  uppards of 300# travel these draws in big numbers. So come and extend your hunting season, bring your buddies and have a blast rolling some of these big jowlers!
